The “Naturalization by Exemption” scheme contains a number of criteria for investors which can be combined and used as leverage for obtaining the Cypriot citizenship. This is a unique opportunity to convert business activities to European citizenship with all the benefits ensuring free movement, residence, rights and so on. The investment in properties can be anything from residential units, commercial units (offices & shops), hotels, or any other kind of property apart from undeveloped land, or any combination of these. If the investor decides to invest in residential properties, then the value of these properties, in order to qualify, could be no less than €2,500,000
